🥳 Bring Fun to your Team: What’s New at Fun Country

Hey there, fellow fun-seekers! We're excited to let you in on the latest happenings here at Fun Country. We've been hard at work behind the scenes, developing significant updates to the product.

🎉 Introducing Playspaces, your group’s hub for fun and connection.

While Fun Country started as a solution to play high quality online poker with your friends, the product and vision has become much more. After having hundreds of conversations with different types of digital groups, we’ve expanded the vision to focus on teams and communities of all kinds with games beyond poker.

As the world becomes more distributed, it’s harder to connect and have fun in a way that feels authentic and unforced. We are building Fun Country to cultivate more personal and intentional interactions through shared activities.

Just as you have your workspace in Slack for team collaboration, or your server in Discord for community engagement, a Playspace in Fun Country is your central hub to have fun with the people you work and socialize with online.

 Playspace Dashboard:

To get started with your Playspace, invite members and create a few rooms. Members can personalize rooms and easily switch between hanging out and playing a game. Maybe you want to set up a “choose your own adventure” happy hour with a different activity in each room. Or kick off your team check-in with one of our seamlessly integrated activities. Teams are integrating Fun Country in all sorts of creative ways.

🪄 Activities that bring fun and connection to your group

With Fun Country, it’s never been easier to inject fun into your group’s routine. Our activities encourage connection, banter, and laughter!

🎨 Oodles of Doodles

Split into teams and take turns guessing the word your teammate is trying to draw. Prepare to laugh-cry as you discover that Joey, your graphic designer, can’t even get his team to guess his drawing of a “bicycle.” Turns out, nothing brings a group closer than a healthy dose of laughter and a terribly drawn bicycle.

🤔 Would You Rather

Would you rather fight a hundred duck-sized horses or one horse-sized duck? Choose from a library of this-or-that style questions, or team members can submit original entries. It’s a chance to understand, appreciate, and roast each other in the most hilarious of ways. You’ll be surprised how much that usually quiet team member has to say about the logistics of fighting a hundred duck-sized horses.

🃏 Texas Hold’em Poker

Whether your group consists of poker novices, experts, or a bit of both, everyone can come together around the table for some friendly competition. Fun fact, we have yet to hear that a team’s so-called poker aficionado took the title. It's all about fun, so get in there and let luck be on your side.

Get your team playing today to experience the Fun Country magic!

💭 We want to hear from you!

This is just the beginning. We’ve got lots of updates in the works, but we would love your input. How can we enhance the Fun Country experience so you have more fun with your group? Send your thoughts to hello@fun.country to connect directly with us.
